How 울부짖다 conjugates
- Find the stem. Take 다 off 울부짖다 and you are left with 울부짖.
- Check the last vowel. It is ㅣ, and any vowel other than ㅏ or ㅗ takes 어요.
- Join them. 울부짖 + 어요 gives 울부짖어요.
- Build the rest on it. The past tense adds ㅆ to the same base, giving 울부짖었어요, and the table above has the future and the formal form.
