How 잡아먹다 conjugates
- Find the stem. Take 다 off 잡아먹다 and you are left with 잡아먹.
- Check the last vowel. It is ㅓ, and any vowel other than ㅏ or ㅗ takes 어요.
- Join them. 잡아먹 + 어요 gives 잡아먹어요.
- Build the rest on it. The past tense adds ㅆ to the same base, giving 잡아먹었어요, and the table above has the future and the formal form.
