How 바쁘다 conjugates
- Find the stem. Take 다 off 바쁘다 and you are left with 바쁘.
- Apply the ㅡ stem pattern. The ㅡ drops and 아 or 어 takes its place. That gives 바빠요.
- Build the rest on it. The past tense adds ㅆ to the same base, giving 바빴어요, and the table above has the future and the formal form.
